SPARROW  HARRISON
SPARROW  HARRISON - FOUNDER OF THE  CAE DAI TRUST
In the early 60’s Sparrow sang with a band called Sparrow and the Gossamers (we have a poster!) - and he relates a tale of performing at the opening of a Wimpy bar in Central London. It appears that the lead guitarist of the Gossamers was not available so a replacement ‘chap’ was sent.
ALEXIS KORNER

The ‘chap’, it transpired, was one Alexis Korner, a ‘founding father of British Blues’ . . and with him were the Rolling Stones. We therefore assume that this chance meeting supports Sparrow’s oft-made claim to all within earshot that, ‘Mick Jagger stole my moves'.
